Thank you for posting this. I looked and looked and looked for help. The FRFS2823AWB would display OFF then scroll letters to the left in a funny fashion. Your article is straightforward with my model number so I assumed the instructions would work. I pressed cube and bulb together for five seconds, doing that four times, and on the fourth time the display panel returned to normal with everything working again. Prior to that I unplugged for an hour to reset with no success.
